Psalm 91

Blessed Name dwells in the shelter of the Most High and will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Blessed Name says of the Lord, “God is my refuge and my safe zone. My God, in whom I shall trust.”

Surely God will save Blessed Name from the hunter’s trap and the deadly pestilence. God will cover Blessed Name with loving arms, and in God’s shadow Blessed Name will find safety; God’s loyalty will be Blessed Name‘s shield and protection. Blessed Name will not fear the terror of the night; the bullets that fly by day; the pestilence that stalks the darkness; nor the plague that destroys. A thousand people may fall around Blessed Name, but it won’t come near Blessed Name, who will only observe and see the distress of others.

Since making the Most High a life-time dwelling – the same Lord who is Israel’s refuge – no harm will befall Blessed Name, no disaster will come near home. God has commanded the angels to guard Blessed Name in all ways; they’ll lift Blessed Name in their hands, so that Blessed Name‘s feet won’t strike against a stone. Blessed Name will stomp the beast and the serpent; trampling them underfoot.

“Because Blessed Name loves Me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue and protect Blessed Name, because Blessed Name knows My real name. Blessed Name will call upon me, and I will answer; I will be with Blessed Name in troubled times, I will deliver and honor Blessed Name with long life. I will satisfy my child, Blessed Name and show Blessed Name My salvation.”
